Cosmetic raw ingredient for professional cosmetic formulation only. This is not a finished cosmetic product. Do not apply directly to skin or mix into skincare in your hand.

JustGlow Bakuchiol is an oil-soluble cosmetic active supplied for developing facial oil formulations, serums, creams and balms. It is used in cosmetic formulations designed for smoother-looking skin and more even-looking skin tone. Bakuchiol is a distinct ingredient from retinol and should not be treated as interchangeable with it.

Formulation guide: Read the Bakuchiol formulation guide in Ingredients A–Z for detailed phase placement, calculations, oil-premix methods, emulsion processing, compatibility, stability, packaging and troubleshooting.

Formulation Applications

Professionally developed facial oils, anhydrous serums, creams, lotions and balms. This is a concentrated raw ingredient, not a ready-to-use Bakuchiol serum or a carrier oil. Ingredient properties do not guarantee the performance or suitability of an untested finished product.

How to Incorporate

Weigh accurately and blend into a measured quantity of compatible cosmetic oil or emollient until uniform. For emulsions, incorporate using the current grade-specific processing guidance, with cool-down addition where appropriate. Avoid unnecessary prolonged heating. Confirm compatibility, uniform distribution, oxidation stability and packaging suitability in the complete formula.

Percentages refer to the total finished formulation by weight. For calculation only, 0.1% in a 100 g batch means 0.1 g of ingredient within a total formula weight of 100 g. This is not a complete or safety-assessed recipe. Use a suitable balance rather than counting drops.

The development range is not a universal safe maximum. Confirm the concentration and processing conditions using the current technical documents and finished-product assessment. Combining several actives requires assessment of the complete formulation.

Professional Use and Safety

Cosmetic ingredient for formulation use only. Do not apply undiluted. Incorporate into a properly formulated cosmetic before use. Applying oils or creams first does not dilute Bakuchiol applied afterwards. Do not add it to a purchased finished product without reformulation and appropriate testing.

Do not ingest, inject or use as a medicine. Read the Safety Data Sheet before handling and follow its protective measures. Do not assume that plant origin or high purity makes a raw ingredient non-irritating or suitable for sensitive skin.

Assess stability, packaging compatibility and microbiological quality, including preservation where appropriate. The finished-product manufacturer is responsible for safety assessment and compliance in the intended market.

Storage and Technical Documents
