Pre-dissolving Ectoin
Ectoin is water soluble, but the powder still needs to be wetted and mixed correctly. A pre-dissolve gives the formulator better control over dose, uniformity and order of addition.
Laboratory pre-dissolve method
- Reserve approximately 5–10 times the weight of Ectoin as deionised water for the premix.
